I need to make the most perfect welcome home cake for my friend?
My friend Hannah has been in Japan for the past month. She is coming back next week and we want to give her a welcome home party. I am a good baker and I want to make her an amazing looking, shaped, decorated, pretty, too good to eat cake.
I havent had much experience at decorating cakes, but my grandma can help and im really willing to try anything. I won't have much time though and it cant be too hard.
I want it to be a traditional "welcome home cake" with maybe like a suitcase, or flag, but i also want it too look really exciting, or with flowers. She has a green ukulele and she likes Harry Potter, and computers and she is kinda emo, but she does love cute things and she is such an Amazing person.
So any ideas? Picture would be great too. Thanks

just a suggestion, I know it doesn't fit with what you wanted but why don't you try making it look Japanese since she has been in Japan.
Maybe you could shape it and decorate it like a Japanese umbrella
