What would be the better alto saxophone, Selmer AS300 or Conn 24m?
I'm desperate for a new alto saxophone at the moment. I have been playing tenor at my school for the past 3 years and have decided that I want to major in music in college. I feel very unprepared and all, but this is what I want to do with my life. The alto I own now is a piece of junk I stopped playing so I could play my school's tenor after I got in high school. I plan on purchasing a intermediate/professional horn if and when I get into a good music program. I have found this ebay store:

I would really like to purchase one of the saxes that are around $600 for now. Once again I would just like to mention I do plan to purchase a better saxophone while in college. I just need something to audition for college and finish out high school band on. Any information you can share would be GREAT! Thanks
